The City of Love

Happy Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s day! I hope everyone feels the love today and every day.  Last weekend, things didn't go exactly as planned  due to the lingering sickness in the house.  My littlest one was able to stay home and  finally recover.  Despite the change in plans,  I had a pretty inspiring weekend.  Friday night, I had the chance to dance the night away at a  “Night to Shine.”  Night to shine is a dance that gives kids and adults with special needs the opportunity to attend prom with a buddy.  These kids got to go on a limo ride, sing, dance, eat dinner, take millions of pictures but most importantly have fun and not be judged.  On Sunday, Mackenzie and I made breakfast for those staying at the Ronald MacDonald house, she was a great little helper.  I was also able to sneak a quick date in with my sweetheart tasting wine and chocolate.
