New Year, new word....INSPIRE

2018 Travel Adventures

Well its official, Happy 2019!  I want to take a moment to reflect on 2018 and thank you for being a part of my life.  I never thought 2018 would look the way it did. At the end of 2017 I was encouraged by a mentor to focus on a word vs making a resolution.  Over the course of the year I focused my energy on things that brought me JOY. I vowed to do all/most things that would bring me JOY. Let's be, wiping noses and laundry will never bring be joy but I have to do them. I found it challenging but also extremely rewarding.  I started saying no (something so hard for me) to things that didn’t fill me, I nurtured meaningful relationships and I took the biggest leap and started a business that brings me joy. It has been one of the biggest growth years of my life. I am thankful for every step and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me and YOU!

Here are just a couple of suggestions for YOU to think over before another year gets away from us...

  1. Historically, the busiest month of the year for travel professionals is January because families and friends get together over the holidays and discuss their travel dreams for the upcoming year. Have you thought about it yet? I'm here to help you weed through your choices and save you tons of time researching on the internet! If I haven't been there myself, I know someone who has, and have direct lines to people who can add value and extra amenities...we are trained to cut through the slick advertising and fake reviews so that your dream vacation doesn't turn into a nightmare.  Don't leave something so important to chance!

  2. It is proven that travel builds and strengthens family bonds like no other experience! I can tell you first-hand that experiencing a foreign country with your kids is worth more than any class at school. We still laugh about some of the sticky situations and crazy moments that have happened to us along the way...but the most important thing is that my children will remember those stories and, hopefully, share them with their own kids one day. The family that travels together stays together and remember -  "You only have 18 Summers” with those kiddos.

  3. On a different note, is this the year that you want to make a career change? Are you burned out and tired of rush hour traffic and brutal alarm clocks? Are your kids old enough now that you feel the urge to re-enter the workplace but don't know where you fit in? Are you totally sick of working for other people and having to adapt your hours and energy to what THEY set for you...all for a paycheck that you could blow in one trip to Target? Why not consider a new career in the travel industry? The opportunities are endless for people who love to plan, are detail oriented, enjoy helping others, are self-motivated, and find themselves constantly flipping through travel magazines and dreaming about that next destination. I would be happy to speak with anyone who is curious about the profession (and yes...It IS a profession!) and show you how you can join me in having "the best job in the world"!

Whatever your resolutions, I look forward to spending the new year inspiring you to travel. Thank are appreciated more than you will ever know! Happy New Year and Best Wishes for a peaceful and prosperous 2019!!!!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.
